The Arc is a leather shell — no frame, no hinge, no internal structure. The form comes entirely from the leather: formed, stitched, and finished to hold its shape under daily pressure. A single stud keeps it closed. Nothing in it is designed to fail.

  • Rigid vegetable-tanned shell — no internal frame or plastic
  • Stud closure — no hinge, no spring mechanism
  • Smooth leather interior — protects lenses from scratches
  • Dimensions: 16.5 × 7.5 × 4 cm

Materials

Vegetable-tanned leather sourced from La Perla Azzurra (Missouri) and Badalassi Carlo (Pueblo, Liscio, Ecbatana Lux) — develops a rich patina with daily use. Saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread; edges hand-burnished and finished.

Care

No treatment needed early on. The exterior will pick up marks and handling traces — that’s part of how it ages. A light application of leather balm once or twice a year maintains the surface.

Made to be used. Built to age beautifully.

Each piece is made individually — slight variations in texture and tone are a natural part of the process.
